Hugh Conway-Jones is a retired Chemical engineer who has spent 45 years reseaching the waterways and ports of Gloucestershire and is the author of several books on the subject.

A member of the Gloucestershire Society for Industrial Archaeology, his interests extend beyond the waterways and the 120+ images available here relate to the industrial heritage of the Forest of Dean and Stroud Valleys.
