Gloucestershire Society for Industrial Archaeology

Neville Crawford was an architect and spent most of his working life employed by Gloucestershire County Council. A long-standing members of the Gloucestershire Society for Industrial Archaeology, he was its Chairman from 1974-1976. He also carried out extensive research into the history of his home village, Woodchester, near Stroud.
Although interested in all aspects of industrial archaeology and local history he had a particular interest “street furniture” which is well represented in this collection of just over 1000 images.
